The story is that the IC Norcom HS cheerleaders (Portsmouth) used that cheer at a game against Granby High (Norfolk).
My ship was home ported in Norfolk while I served, from 1967 to 1970.
As a young sailor, I used to ride the Granby St. Bus from the DesRon Piers into downtown Norfolk. I played pool on the weekends at St. Elmo’s Billiards.
