Probably not a big surprise. Actually like some of Bolton’s positions, but in general he has always been a bit too much of a warhawk, and we really need to be a lot better about picking and choosing our battles, rather than intervening everywhere. Other Freepers guesses about NK are probably the trigger on this - the Taliban thing might be a factor as well but Bolton has been more conspicuous on the NK issue.

Bolton’s clock was ticking on day one...he knew it. Would be curious to see how quick CNN reacts to hiring him as their expert guest.
