This would be a serious wild card.
If the democrat nominee is anyone but Biden, Tulsi would threaten to take a significant block of moderates from the democrat voting block versus the hard left socialist message. So then the question would be, how much of a notch could she carve from Trump’s block?

“How much of a notch could she carve from Trump’s block?”

Not much. She’s pro-choice. Those who are principled in their pro-life views would never vote for her. However, there are MANY Democrat voters who fall within a wide spectrum of views on abortion who would find her “moderate” views appealing.

Only a blue-dog, pro-life Democrat running on a third-party ticket would potentially peal off more voters from Trump than his Democrat opponent. It would probably have to be somebody with name recognition, and there are few who fit this criterion.

Democrat politicians are a bunch of bobbleheads who give themselves whiplash agreeing with the latest received party position. Obama specifically said he did not support gay marriage when first running for president. Late in his first term he said his position was “evolving”. But today, anyone who disagrees is a war criminal to Democrats, notwithstanding the fact that their leader, icon, and savior, Barrack Hussein Obama openly sided against today’s wisdom—not in some distant past life as a teenager (think Kavanaugh), but in his most recent job.
