Electricity getting ready to be too expensive for anyone making less than $300K a year in the Potty Hole....
Control
And after 5 years of government TLC, it will be worth (maybe) half of that.
“Chicago and Boulder want to become their own utilities too. It is another source of money while they neglect the infrastructure.”
yep. Been following the Boulder saga since its inception. Boulder wants to condemn the Xcel infrastructure serving the city, use taxpayer money to forcibly buy it, and continue to buy power from Xcel while the city supposedly converts to 100% renewables ...
so far, it’s not going so well for Boulder, but should they eventually get their way, it’s going to be disastrous for their citizens as the People’s Republic of Boulder has no idea how to maintain and operate an electric utility ...
“I witnessed a small town of around 3,000 be completely destroyed because the city bought the power company”
i’d really like to know more about this since Boulder, CO is trying to head down this path ... what town and when?
:)
