I would fully support that. Let them pay for those useless bike lanes as well.
Our bike lanes aren’t useless...they are usually clogged with millennial breeders walking side by side with baby strollers the size of volkswagons and flabby middle aged liberal women doing their power walks. AND we have perfectly good sidewalks. But no, they are special and have to use the bike lane.

Agreed. Every city feels like they have to kiss those bike riders’ rear ends. (As if they are doing so much for the environment so they deserve special consideration.)
I wish they were useless here. These morons are out biking in full rush hour traffic. In the middle of the intersections, as well, as though they are cars.
It's suicidal.
It's getting so crowded, the traffic so bad and everyone driving so wrecklessly, it's absolute insanity to encourage bikes to add to this mess.
