Well they’ve finally gotten the light quality down pat, the cost down, and the things seem to last way longer than regular incandescents. And use way less electricity. I’m not in favor of the government mandating what kind of light bulbs we can use, but i’m happy with LEDs and am sticking with them.

That’s how a free market is supposed to work. I’m sure there were a lot of specialty incandescent bulbs (decorative bulbs) that were caught up in the regulations.
