I may be wrong, but I believe refugee is not the same as asylum where the abuse is much larger.
Now we are getting thousands of Bahama refugees here. I feel sorry for them, but the US cannot continue to be the world’s nanny which will eventually bankrupt us and then what will all those refugees do once the government teat is cut off? Why doesn’t the UN take some of those billions they rake in every year, set up refugee camps in various countries, feed and clothe them and head up a worldwide drive to collect $$ and rebuild the devastated countries?

There is a distinction between refugee status and illegal immigrant....
However
The illegals are crying ‘refugee’ and jamming the system
So I don’ blame the President for being fed up
