US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has urged European nations to take a hard line on Iran

Washington (AFP) - US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Friday pressed European nations to stop Iran's "extortion" after Tehran again reduced its commitments under a nuclear deal in response to US sanctions.

"We are confident that the UK, France and Germany -- indeed, all civilized nations -- will take decisive actions to stop Iran's nuclear extortion," Pompeo, who visited the European Union headquarters in Brussels earlier in the week, wrote on Twitter.

Iran has been negotiating with European powers that hope to salvage the 2015 nuclear accord despite the withdrawal last year by the United States, which reimposed punishing sanctions.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said Wednesday that Tehran would step up research and development work and the head of the country's atomic energy organization is set to hold a press conference on Saturday.

Iran said it would fully adhere to the deal if it sees economic relief, such as a greater ability to sell its oil -- banned through unilateral US sanctions -- or a credit line mulled by France.

Iran like China has found the bribing western politicians with no children is like Kamala Harris both cheap and easy.

I know Obama had kids and he sucked - so its a ding in this theory, but perhaps as bad as he was maybe he would have been worse with no kids around, we did get through it after all.

The more I think about it why would I ever want to vote for a civic leader who it seemed had actively avoid having children or involved with kids in their life (niece nephews whatever). They could be a great candidate but why should I not suspect some power hungry politician isn't going to be a worse power hungry politician if they don't have a tie to the future by their progeny.

The thing I know about children and the left is:

The care about them when losing an argument, can use ad homien attacks and need to pander
They want to be able to kill them up and past the point those nasty little babies been born

They don't give a crap about the next generation - another reason for their over the top concern about the Earth rings hallow.

Honestly who gives a f*#&! about the planet earth if there are no humans to make a real world. It'd be like being all sad one of Jupiter moons had escaped orbit.

Frak on president Trump who frak cares anyway - oh hey look a 72 year leader beholden to only the voters with a 12 year old maybe he'll give a damn - or I could vote for the Chinese backed literal whore who is going to destroy the economy hmmm.... tough one - its about as smart as running a Mormon for president.
