Funny part is I read an article a while back that said Colorado pot stores have a hard time keeping enough pot on hand for demand and the vendors buy Mexican pot and blend it to make the supply go farther. If that is true that would seem to actually increase demand for smuggled dope from Mexico.

Marijuana in CO is monitored by CCTV from seed to Point Of Purchase. Not only would it be nearly impossible, the VAST majority of customers would know instantly they were being defrauded. Risking major federal charges and alienating your customer base to save a few bucks? Unlikely. This isn't China, after all.
