Theres more possibility of a breakthrough between the two sides, said Hu Xijin, editor-in-chief of the Global Times, a tabloid under the Peoples Daily.
Hu has been spot on with the recent developments in the escalated trade war. Most recently, he had warned about the Chinese retaliation just hours before Chinas official announcement.
A blog called Taoran Notes has been followed by analysts covering China and market participants for cues on the trade battle.
In a 1,200-word commentary, Taoran said its very likely there will be new developments in the upcoming trade talks.

Having been involved in design and manufacturing for a long time, I say: 1) Dont strangle ourselves @ home. 2) Stomp on the IP theft as hard as possible (we can then move ahead quickly.) 3) Fair trade deals. 4) Somehow refocus consumers on lasting quality. Given those things, well smoke em (the Chinese.)
Partner, we hope that this happens, but it is not been happening for a very long time now. Just look with your own eyes to see what has happened when the Clintons, W. and the American Hating Piece of Work Obama were in office. The stealing, copying, and cheating has gone on very rapidly.
Partner, I am surprised that you do not even know what a code book for all type of engineers in this country.
I will not answer any questions that the Chicoms are doing right now. I will tell you that they are Communists with a centralized government and they are cheating, stealing and copying our technology the likes of which we have never seen before.
Guess what, we are letting them do this to us but Thank God for President Trump. We need to get rid of these socialists Rats and Communists Rats right before our eyes.

I dont understand why Trump needs a deal? China trade is a very small part of overall USA GDP.Consider that Trump vs China also serves as a lesson to other countries that want to continue to **** us in their trade practices.

We would like to add that we think you are a troll or a member of the communist Rat party.

Partner, you must be a troll or a communist Rat member. The Chicoms have been stealing, copying, and cheating more than we will ever know.
To: TheConservativeTejano
You are also a troll or member of the Communist Rat party.

[[[Better off with the tariffs. No deal is ok by me.]]]
China will never abide by any deal. They are a mafia cartel wielding trade as a weapon. The best course ultimately is disengagement.
Any deal opens the door for later trade concessions by the US with future administrations. A broader supply chain will dilute their strength.

While we're at it there should be no more student visas given to Chinese ‘’students’’ to come here-none! Everyone of is a spying thieving bastard and so many among them end up liking it here so much they ''over stay'' the damned things anyway.

Sorry about that! I did not know I was doing that and then I saw the error of my ways.
I will check if I am sending a message to myself.
Again, sorry about that!
To: TheConservativeTejano
No need to apologize. I just thought it was funny.
