Wall Street Journal ^

Democrats howl about partisan gerrymanders, but look who is using the courts to usurp democratic redistricting. Ground zero is North Carolina where state judges on Tuesday ordered new legislative maps that will help Democrats gain control of redistricting after 2020.

Obama is also backing the redistricting scam.

He lost in the USSC who kicked it back to the states.....and is now financing an initiative will train, organize volunteers across country to fight to end gerrymandering and to implement what he calls “fair maps.”

Obama’s stupidly-named “All On The Line” campaign, will send trainers to provide free training to install leaders in the fair map movement, according to the initiative’s website.

And the corrupt courts are paving the way. These judges should all be impeached in PA and NC amongst others.

Yep. It’s something more conservatives need to wake up to. The definition of gerrymandering on the Holder/Obama end is “Any district that a Republican has a remote possibility of winning.”

In Virginia in particular, where state legislative elections are coming up in November, they’re flooding in with millions.

There is a very easy solution to Gerrymandering: Simply require that every congressional district can be inscribed in a circle in which 65% of the people who live within the circle are included in the congressional district.

I wish I knew who might be interested in this solution, on a state and federal level.

It’s up to our leaders. Do they have the fight in them? They didn’t back down in the Fla. recount or did they?

I understand the legality and it is certainly fair game. That’s not the point however. We have 15 Republicans retiring for whatever reason none of those reasons probably good. And the existence of our Republic rest on the back shoulders of our current president. I would suggest pray harder and fewer jokes. It could be funny if our side weren’t partly in favor of destroying the Republic. That said the other side is 100% behind destroying the Republic. Let that sink in.

If you run across a moron who thinks Dems don’t gerrymander, look at Maryland’s Congressional maps.

What if we designed congressional districts to make them more competitive rather than less competitive?

I have no idea what the purpose of your question is. Let somebody else answer it. If you already know the purpose of your question and is rhetorical then why don’t you explain it? If somehow that helped don’t you think they would have done that by now?

Illinois’ map looks like a jigsaw puzzle. Very disheartening.

Democrats began modern gerrymandering during the so-called 'civil rights' era in order to create minority-majority districts so black candidates could win.

Democrats created their own gerrymandered ghettos now they blame others for what they did to themselves.

Aside from Trump, not a one of them.

The correct title of the article is:

Eric Holder’s Redistricting Coup

I'm sure I wasn't the only one to notice baby-talk in a title attributed to the Wall Street Journal.

The only ‘fair maps’ would be those drawn up by computer and BASED SOLELY ON POPULATION. The number of states gerrymandered to favor Democrats is already the case.
