Rush talked about all the Repubs not running in 2020, and he thought it might be DNC blackmail....
Me, I think they are the group of spineless, traitors who refuse to support a great Republican President VOTED in by many of their own constituents for crying out loud! Guess we had better get the senate firmed up!

Does anyone know if any Dems are expected to retire?

Good one. Dems never retire.

The Republicans are probably being bought off, and out, in some fashion.

Safe seat?

Well it's been a red seat for going on 40 years.

I’ll wager blackmail...no dems retiring...these stoppages made friends over cocktails with dems, erstwhile dems hated them all along.

"Just like 2018... lots of incumbents retiring."

They want to nullify President Trump and give government control to the commies.

"I am very opposed to term limits, the swamp can always find another empty suit to fill vacancies but we have a hard time finding anyone decent. Let the voters throw people out if it needs to be done."

I have to agree. Find any state or local government that has been fixed with term limits. Terms limits look good in theory but in reality they actually make things worse. If people would do a little research they would find this out.

Exactly. Term limits only make every Senator and congressman into lame ducks at some point. Imagine if they didn’t have to face the voters and worry about reelection.

Term limits aren’t the answer. Voting them out is.

Today is September 5, 2019. Exactly 1 year, 1 month, 29 days from now. More than enough time for the Republicans to find good candidates in every retiring district. The only reason they don't is because they do not want to win.

Reason number 1: Most Republicans are not(refuse) embracing nationalism or Trump’s non-globalist pro American worker polices.

Don’t they get to keep the unspent campaign funds?

Republicans can fool Conservatives (led them around by the nose) with their “pro life” stance on abortion ( even though Rowe codified it ) and advance their globalist anti American worker polices while in the minority. The Dems have let them have that niche and the two parties are just fine with that power balance. When it comes down to it there is little political conflict between the globalist Democrats and the globalist Republicans. What little conflict there is is just for show.

I've said many times over the years that the GOPe consider the 60s and 70s to be their best days because they were provided with safe seats and all the hookers and pork they wanted in return for being the loyal and acquiescent permanent minority to their Democrat betters. That is why they consider conservatives to be their number one enemy because beginning in 1976 and culminating in 1980 with Ronald Reagan's election, conservatives wrecked that cozy arrangement the GOPe had with the RATS.

This worries me...

EXCEPT:

Trump will be on the ballot, and that will also bring out both pro-GOP and democrat voters.

Who will bring out the most?

Frankly, I’m on fire in my motivation to vote for President Trump’s reelection, but hardly warm on the GOP congress...

Good. Gravy-train scumbag. I’ve had it with ALL of them. I’d just as soon see the freshman class of 2020 replace ALL existing GOP reps.
