Alinsky was a very bright fellow but also a very misguided one. His goals were mostly far leftist in ideology and his methods, while sometimes creative ( fart- in at the symphony, for instance) but frequently quite abusice ( same example ). One can only wonder what good things he might have accomplished had he been guided along better, more constructive channels. As it was, he wound up doing quite a bit of damage to society — not so much personally as through some of those that later followed his ( essentially amoral and aggressive) fat leftist agenda ( Obama comes to Mind, and there’ve been more)
