A group of opposition and rebel MPs have published a bill to extend Article 50 and stop the UK from leaving the EU without a deal.

Tonight, MPs will debate and vote on whether the bill should be heard on Wednesday - what has been called 'taking control of the order paper'.

If the motion to allow the debate on the rebel bill passes on Tuesday night, Boris Johnson will be one step closer to calling a General Election, which he is expected to do if the legislation passes.

Another attempt to sellout British sovereignty. Just like the countries that did not vote to join the EU the first time, revotes continued until the EU got what it wanted. There should be severe consequences for parliamentarians who betray their country.

UK, fight now for your sovereignty or perish.

Its analogous to Republicans in the USA - when its time for a truly weighty decision, a large group of RINOs and Neo-cons will abandon “conservatism” to side with the Left, statists and globalists.

That’s because being a statesman means giving the shits on the Left what they want, not keeping promises to those who elected you.

Republicans are sadly Quislings far too often.

Yes, he will need Nigel working with him.

Someone mentioned yesterday that calling a general election is tantamount to a Brexit 2 vote. Not good in my view. If their lefty pols are anything like ours, vote fraud will be on the menu.

It was assuring that Boris Johnson suspended Parliament but they had a couple of days before suspension. Looks like some of their MPs are using the sliver of time given.

But for a general election, maybe, just maybe enough Brits are now awake to what’s been happening to them and they will vote for Brexit candidates. The same poster wrote that within Labor there is a large contingent of voters who want Brexit.

I don’t see warnings from Nigel Farage so I assume he’s confident Brexit will happen regardless of these so-called ‘rebel’ MPs.

Its ironic that the EU accomplished Germany’s economic goals of WW II. Make no mistake. The EU is essentially controlled by Germany and implements German policy. Once again Britain is struggling alone. There are many as in 1940 that would just as well concede to Germany as there are people who are determined to preserve their sovereignty, heritage and self determination. However Boris Johnson is no Winston Churchill and multicultural Britain is not what it once was. Suspect Britain will concede to Germany and accept its secondary role.

America should take notice ad realize that NATO is an anachronism and does nothing to enhance the security of the American people. It only impoverishes them. It costs the America taxpayer over $200,000 per year for every soldier, airman and sailor stationed in Europe.

I’ve read a lot of Brit conservatives say if he calls for an election the Brexit Party will demolish the Tories because they have finally shown they are unable or unwilling to do the will of their voters.

I have said this for years. NATO is the defense force of the EU, which allows them to fund their destructive, leftist welfare and immigration programs.

Just like in the US you have a political establishment working completely against the will of its public. Borris is correct to call an election if they dare to do so.

Yes, that is how I see the establishment in regards to illegal immigration. Trump would have had this all fixed a long time ago if he didn’t have to drag his own party kicking and screaming.

I think in this context, most won’t. Boris had to show the voters how his hand has been forced by the remoaners and that he needs that majority mandate in order to secure Brexit. Most former Tory Brexit Party voters will cone back. BP will still have a loyal following amongst ex Labour “lexiteers” which will damage Labour in the north and Midlands.

It won’t be Brexit II because it is riding by riding, and I think the Brexit vote efficiency on the riding level ensures that unless the vote is split with the Brexit party, Brexit wins. An endorsement by Farage, or better yet an alliance wherein the Brexit party takes on everyone in the non-Tory ridings should result in a complete route.

Thanks, much appreciated.

British politics seems at times more convoluted than our own, if that were possible.

A Boris-Nigel coalition government with a hard Brexit would be delightful. Sounds too good to be true, however.

The three branches of government, with a double legislative branch, and a relatively strong federal system as well, make the U.S. very confusing to foreigners.

I think both are a walk in the park compared to Italy—at least in terms of trying to figure out what is likely to happen.

I’m not sure that it is. I think it depends mainly on the two principles. I’m not sure that either envisioned ending up in this position, but it looks very good to me.

The RINO-Tories have, by my calculations, check mated themselves. I am still waiting for Naturalman to weigh in, but I think they made a blunder that is worse than a Land War in Asia.
