Comey is the same FBI Director who declined to prosecute Hillary Clinton for using personal devices for secure government communications including classified data — yet here he is violating the same laws.
Comey and others can use the excuse that such a horrible thing might happen to America, that they were duty- and conscience-bound to use extreme measures to stop it.
I’ll be charitable. They gambled and lost, and their ‘horrible thing’ wasn’t horrible. More likely, the alternative would have been horrible.
Too bad, Comey and the gang. You ended up on the losing side and broke the law as well. Your strategy going forward needs to be staying out of jail.
