I don’t believe that smoking pot is the major contributing factor in mass shooting, but, if it is true (I haven’t seen any reliable studies) that most mass shooters were pot smokers, it may be a contributing factor. The fact that a zillion people smoke pot and don’t become homicidal points to it not being a major cause, just as a zillion people own guns and don’t become mass shooters. There is probably no single cause, but rather a series of mitigating factors,that lead to this behavior, everything from emotional, mental issues to how they view the glorification of violence to family dynamics. Drug use, prescribed and otherwise, is probably one of the factors involved.

Some crazy people smoke pot or drink
Schizophrenic folks likely don’t smoke pot cause it make their illness worse
Most of the men are also lonely...not that we should feel sorry for them but they are rejects

Smoking pot as a normal guy...should not be a issue. Smoking pot as someone diagnosed as paranoid schizophrenic....is a problem.
