Will run down this afternoon for a look but think we came out OK.
Great news! Glad to hear your camera is still working too. Always a good sign.

Retreated and then scrolled down to see liberals crying about losing military funding for border wall. Too funny.
Left Beaufort on Tuesday (9/3). Had to drive 4 hours up state for an available hotel room, everything was booked that early!!!!! Almost all the hotel guests were evacuees from the low country.
Spent time at museums and State parks - dreading what we would find when we returned yesterday - but it was not too bad. Power was out very briefly - but no tree or wind damage to the house/windows.
Praise God and prayers for those still in harm’s way.
Hmmm...... Do you have any info on Hunting Island State Park ?
Is it still there?
****Do you have any info on Hunting Island State Park ?****
No- but I’ll check. My condo overlooks the Beaufort river, beyond which is Hunting Island. Since Hunting Island is a beach, it probably had high ocean tides and downed trees on the park access.
Have not seen any reports of damage at SunCityHH near you - I wonder if the senior residents evacuated or stayed put.
Thanks...
We have reservations in the Hunting Islandcamp ground beginning on 9/22. Looking at Google Earth, since we were there, half the campground is gone, obliterated and what’s left is now close to the high tide line. The beach at low tide is neaatly 100 yards wide
We really like coming to your area to visit.
Yes we were blessed here. But just cant believe the Bahamas so it is difficult to say we dodged this storm. Glad all is well with you and family.
Good links! Hope they evacuated Ocracoke in time. ALL roads covered with water.

There were LOTS of bucket trucks headed north on I-24 in Southern IL & Western KY, this mid-day. I’d have to guess they were headed home from FL. It’s good to see they were not needed, at least not there...
