Yeah says he was walking after the accident and his entourage got him and drove him to his home and THEN, later, to the hospital where they checked him out and he’s back at home.

This doesn’t sound THAT bad.

It doesnt sound that bad, but it could be a lot worse than he/they thought once he got checked out.

People have broken backs and not found out about it hours later on after muscles are relaxed.

This doesn’t sound THAT bad.

As someone who's gone through back injuries, I can tell you that they are tricky buggers indeed - sometimes presenting fine, and sometimes leaving you in complete soul-crushing agony.

Those disks between the vertebrae and even damaged vertebrae themselves can shift around and impinge on nerves in variable ways. They also can change depending on the orientation of your body and with time.
