the chinese will not repeat tiananmen square. Why not? well we know that in the last decade chinese police have practiced with western police on crowd control. that’s what’s been happening so far.

the communists will use all sorts of pressure points short of killing civilians in big public events that will make for international headlines. they don’t want bad publicity.

The money started pulling out of Hong Kong near the end of 2015 into many places out of ChiCom control.

They bought homes, hotels, vineyards and ???? up and down California.

I might have not researched thoughtfully but the HK protests seemed to be somehow restrained from both sides until just recently when petrol bombs appeared. And it wasn’t the government using it.
