One of the books, but a ridiculous book I have read on home defense, fifty years ago, said that every home needs a “safe room” designed to get the family into quick, if there is a break in. You also needed a second telephone line in case the main line is cut.
If someone tries to break into the safe room, (here is the ridiculous part) you need to have a broom handle, break apart a pair of scissors, and tape the blade and make a spear. SAY WHAT!
No mention of home firearms in the book at all.
Must have been written by a liberal, or an idiot. I mean, even if you didn't have a gun in the supposed "safe room", how about something with a little more authority than a jury-rigged marshmallow skewer? How about a chain saw? If nothing else, a chain saw would let you exit the stupid "safe room" if/when any career criminals started shooting their way through the locked door with their illegal firearms.
Oh, that's right - no liberal would want anyone to own a chain saw, either, because (a) they symbolize mankind's 'rape' of the Amazon rain forest; (b) they're way too dangerous; and (c) Trump!!!
