Relax, folks. If “several White House officials had long suspected her of disloyalty to the president” as the writer states, we can rest assured that multiple canary traps were used to confirm their suspicions. I suspect Miss Westerhout was used to feed disinformation to the press, wittingly or unwittingly. She was outed by the Washington Post, and the press doesn’t usually burn its sources unless they’ve been double crossed with bad information. C’est la guerre.
