If you own the content and the copyright, copyright issues on what you own and choose to post are rather moot.
(Not that the default web site permissions settings will recognize your ownership...)
What say you, John?
I say you must have too much time on your hands when you choose to spend your time NOT commenting on whatever issue is raised but that you have to click on a link which takes you to The American Thinker. I attempt to use this site and follow its instructions. But since I guess I don’t know the secret handshake please feel free to bitch about the OUTRAGE and humanity of having to click on that link. Is there no god?!! That’s what I say. What say you anonymous person?
I think he’s talking about the URL-based “must excerpt” list. I’m fine with strict adherence to that list, even if the OP owns, or believes he owns, the copyright, excerption is consistent and legally tidy.
Given developments in Internet copyright over the years, and particularly with an eye toward a favorable (to society) social media ruling (platform v. publisher), we may end up going strict excerpt and link across the board for legal reasons.
