Two cameras that malfunctioned outside the jail cell where financier Jeffrey Epstein died as he awaited trial on sex-trafficking charges have been sent to an FBI crime lab for examination, a law enforcement source told Reuters.
Epstein's lawyers Reid Weingarten and Martin Weinberg told U.S. District Judge Richard Berman in Manhattan on Tuesday they had doubts about the New York City chief medical examiner's conclusion that their client killed himself.

I guess the FBI doesn’t trust a third party to “inspect” the cameras?
What an effing joke the FBI is.
Real law officers do not believe in coincidence and I don’t either.
So many here that it bewilders the mind.
This will simply go away. There are too many upper echelon people to look at. We know the drill. Justice is only for the low life’s.
You make some very good points. I once worked in a building that had cameras everywhere. And there was a guard whose only job was to watch the monitors.
Yet we have two broken cameras in this case. I would think that two blank monitors would be hard to miss.
The camera’s while in FBI custody were pounded with sledge hammers to see if they could have been tampered with. This resulted in both camera’s being destroyed
> The camera had been working long shifts. They were tired and fell asleep, too. <
Ha! You should get a job as an FBI spokesman.
Heck, they studied them BEFORE they broke them.
Hillary tapped on them to see if she could get them to work.
“...joke the FBI is...”
The rank and file has to be every bit as corrupt as the top echelon(directed to Hannity) or they would blow the whistle on these coverups.
Fort Marcy technology.
Nah. All going according to his deep state plan.
You would think the breaking of the cameras would have woken up the sleeping guards.
Putting the Eff Bee Eye in charge is like putting the fox in charge of the hen house.
You know that’s my thought too. Your we have potentially most notorious single prisoner in federal custody in a generation. And we are to believe that inadvertently his security was handled as if it was Barney Fife in Mayberry.
I really do think they’re not trying to fool us. I think they’re telling us that they can do anything they please and we can kiss off.
I understand that the huge, hulking piece of beefcake they had sharing a cell with Epstein is an ex-cop charged with a multiple murder. It’ll be interesting to see how they dispose of his case.
The F_I investigating what they are so professional in doing: disabling security cameras. BBBwwwahahahaha!
> I really do think theyre not trying to fool us. I think theyre telling us that they can do anything they please and we can kiss off. <
Theres enough material in this case for ten crime novels. Heck, at this point I wouldnt be surprised if Epstein were still alive. Maybe the two guards and the coroner were all told that this is a matter of national security. So just stick to the script, and do as youre told.
There are required safety checks that are supposed to be made on these things, along with any fire alarm systems installed. Someone was responsible for the cameras on that floor, in that section, at that time. And if there were malfunctioning cameras while Epstein was on that floor, it should have been reported, and he never should have been placed in that uncovered area.
Having watched numerous episodes of “Air Disasters”, I can tell you that supposed “unreadable” data on flight recorders is almost always recovered by American companies when others have failed.
I realize this isn’t exactly the same, but believing early reports that camera data is “unreadable” are premature.
Even if recovered, will it ever see the light of day?
Is Epstein even really dead?
