Senator Elizabeth Warren wants new taxes on wealth. Senator Bernie Sanders wants Medicare for All. Senator Cory Booker wants guaranteed jobs. Jeff Mackler wants the elimination of the military budget, the nationalization of the energy and banking industries, open borders, the creation of a state-run health-care system, and the end of capitalism in the United States.
A member of the Trotskyist party Socialist Action, Mackler is one of a handful of true, full-fat, no-joke socialist candidates running or considering running for president in 2020. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell looks at the Democratic primary and sees the proposed Cubafication of the country; Mackler looks at it and sees neoliberal accommodationism. “Bernie gets a little attention when he says things like, ‘Three people in the United States control half the wealth in the country,’” he told me with a chuckle. “He has no proposal to change that in any way!”

Communist Party USA only stands an election chance if they hijack another part and run it as their own.
I forced myself to read part of this - the gist is that conservatives are wrong to label well-meaning democrats and their policies as SOCIALIST. Because here is what real socialists are pushing. What is left out of this article is that current democrat policy proposals, once achieved, ARE NEVER ENOUGH, another step towards pure socialism is next on the agenda

If Bernie should be the nominee, the campaign won’t be about voting for Trump. It will be about voting against communism.

Sanders should have had his privileged *ss working a job or studying something useful instead of becoming a useless ideologue at the University of Chicago while other people's sons were dying trying to protect our freedoms from the advancing forces of Communism that he so fervently defends. He's a little man, and that he is trying to gain power by poisoning young minds is just another example of his narcissism. Pray God that we escape people like him.
