It’s weird that these touchscreens are everywhere but nobody else has these kind of “calibration” issues.

I see touch screen calibration issues ALL the time.

Go visit 20 red boxes, odds are you will run into at least 1 where, where you touch is NOT where the cursor will show you touched.. it will be off, so you adjust your touch accordingly.

Like I said, if your goal was to cheat, you don’t show the voter something other than what they expect, you just count the vote somewhere else... There is no reason to show the voter something other than what they pressed...

Because the minute you see this, you pull that machine from use.... So you would not get more than a few votes (if that) before, like this voter does, hear someone complain. You confirm its acting up, and its immediately taken out of service, and fixed or replaced.

So, this is NOT an example of someone trying to game the system, because you would only get a few votes as most this way.

If however, you simply counted the votes a certain way, regardless of what the screen shows... You can “steal” as many votes as you like.

So, no, this isn’t an example of fraud, because if your game is fraud, the person voting would never ever see or know that their vote got counted for someone other than who they voted for.
