Stephen’s announcement comes after he flew off the handle on Dave Karpf, a media and public affairs professor for George Washington University who called him a “bedbug.” This appeared to be an off-hand joke about the news that the Times recently had a bedbug outbreak in their newsrooms.

That sounds like an invitation, and not a threat.
Well I have a pretty good experience there overall.
It's all in who you follow...and who you block. If I see somebody being nasty, negative, etc., with just a click, I block them and never see them again.
Also, I maintain private lists of accounts I follow that I find useful. Just click on the list and you get the feed of just the accounts on that list. So if I'm not in the mood for news and want to catch up on music, weather, or tech news, I have lists just for that. (Just don't make your lists public as many do not appreciate that.)
Golly gee, it’s hard not to notice all these left wing media figures seem to be a hair’s breath away from some act of violence.
Stephens is a turd. One would think he’d feel at home in a sewer.
The comments on one of the Breitbart articles has Mr. Stephens response being compared to the faux pas of Fredo Cuomo, in that Stephens is forever going to be called “Bedbug Bret”.
Thousands of folks need to line up behind Bret Stevens. Twitter is mostly garbage.
These “snowflakes” should be made to endure the abuse that our great President Trump has accepted with grace and dignity.
What a bunch of wimps. They only make our President look superior.
