The only thing that saved Kavanaugh was longtime colleague was Lindsay Graham, who knew the allegations were all BS. If Graham hadn’t supported Kavanaugh he would have eventually been sacrificed for expediency, and his legal career and personal reputation would have been ruined forever, all for a pack of lies that were made up out of whole cloth.
