Yes, that’s what I’m referring to. Only the GOP controlled Senate can stop the Dems ( but then, we are threading on a thin line here what with Trump haters like Mitt Romney ).

The Dems didn’t have the Senate, that’s the only reason Merrick Garland is not on the court.
If the Dems had the Senate at the time i’m willing to bet we would have seen someone much worse than Garland nominated.

IMO all the Cruz discussion is a waste of time. Trump will pick from his list. Cruz isn’t on his list. The list has names on it that have the highest ratings and qualifications from the ACU if I recall. Not saying anything good or bad about Cruz but why do people seems to continue to promote him over Trumps list?

Roe is a cancer that must be excised. It is pure judicial invention. Apart from the issue of abortion, the left’s attachment to Roe means that the left is committed to the “make it up as you go along” school of constitutional interpretation, and to judicial supremacy.
