Judge Strikes Down Law That Penalizes ‘Inducing’ Illegal Immigration
THE EPOCH TIMES ^ | August 25, 2019 | Matthew Vadum

A federal judge in Kansas who formerly worked for an open-borders group and whose sister currently heads one of the nation’s leading open-borders groups has struck down a federal law that prevents people from “encouraging” or “inducing” illegal immigration, finding that the measure unconstitutionally infringes First Amendment free speech protections.

The judge’s online biography acknowledges he previously worked as “the immigration coordinator for El Centro Inc.” El Centro Inc. is a left-wing activist nonprofit based in Kansas City, Kansas, that identifies UnidosUS as an affiliate on its website. UnidosUS is the new name for the National Council of La Raza (“La Raza” is Spanish for “the race”), a large organization headed by the judge’s sister, Janet Murguia.

No judicial prejudice here.

Wasn’t there a girl who encouraged her boyfriend to commit suicide? She was charged with a crime. Was she able to get off by claiming free speech?

What about racial and cultural prejudice in favor of open borders? This “judge” should have recused himself.

The judge has a conflict of interest. Perhaps he needs light shown on this fact of which he is obviously oblivious.

How are we ever, ever going to fix the system when we've got thousands of marginally educated, idiot liberals sitting on federal benches? One person can usurp our entire legal code. One person can stop everything.

There's no way we can fix what's broken under these conditions.

He shouldn't be a judge at all.

Seems like a clear and hugh recusal requirement.

But what do I, a mere citizen, know?

So an established law that’s been on the books for 130 years and has been used regularly during that period is suddenly invalid? Well hello, Roe v Wade.

There is but one goes to jail for uttering such, if they are conservatives.

El Centro, Inc. (Kansas City)

About Us

While times have changed since El Centro was founded in 1976, one thing that has stayed constant is our commitment to the people of Wyandotte and Johnson Counties, particularly the growing Hispanic population.

Mission

The mission of El Centro, Inc., a not-for-profit corporation, is “strengthening communities and improving lives of Latinos and others through educational, social, and economic opportunities.”

History

El Centro was established in 1976 with a $10,000 grant from the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas, along with the blessing of Archbishop Ignatius J. Strecker, Father Ramon Gaitan, the commitment of the Cordi Marian Sisters, and a group of energetic and caring community members who saw a need for an organization to address the needs and concerns of Kansas City, Kansas’ Hispanic population. With that care and commitment, El Centro de Servicios para Hispanos was born.

Fast-forward to the present day. In the intervening years since our humble beginnings, we have grown from a single location to three locations in Kansas City, Kansas and Olathe, serving more than 12,000 individuals and families per year. Our programming has evolved from our first program for elders – the Senior Day Program – to include The Academy for Children – a dual-language Pre-K program, workshops on money-management and home ownership, health education and healthy living outreach through our Promotoras de Salud (Health Promoters) volunteers, health navigation and intervention, and our policy and advocacy efforts for issues of special interest to our community.

There’s no way we can fix what’s broken under these conditions.

There absolutely is. Read up on the Battle of Athens, Tennesse, if you haven’t already. Unfortunately, we allow ourselves to be pushed around by one, unaccountable person in a black robe, that has oscenely partisan feelings, and we take it. Has everyone forgotten how the previous occupant of the White House just ignored the rule of law? How he tossed DACA, knowing and even admitting that it wouldn’t survive a court challenge. He just did it anyway and dared anyone to cross him.

How about the people of Kansas and their elected leaders tell the judge to pound sand up his ass. What’s he going to do? Send in the US Marshal’s or the FBI to lock someone up. Let him try to make that happen. Let the people of Kansas have their day on the soapbox and show that this man is as biased and corrupted as any one person could be and should not have been allowed to hear the case. But, of course his sister and he were able to make sure it ended up in his courtroom and the “appropriate” ruling was put forth.

The people of Kansas should ask for an expedited appeal hearing, or whatever they can do and have his decision tossed, which it would. And then do anything and everything to have him tossed off the bench.

People seem to forget the FIRST leg of that broken stool: CONGRESS (not doing ITS J-O-B in impeaching these judicial tyrants a/o telling the Courts just what it CAN (NOT) adjudicate to begin).

Course, “we just need a *few* more (R)N(C)\lesser of two” is the reason we’re where we are today...
