already gone.
The average temperature using data from our last 12 Atmos Gas bills is 6F lower this year and that doesn’t fit the global warming narrative at all. In the DFW area, the compromised media are using Heat Index values often without reference to the actual temperatures.
Thank you for referencing that article RightGeek. Please note that the following critique is directed at the graph and not at you.
Please pardon the rant.
Because of questionably small graph font sizes, y-axes are confusing. Would guess that right y-axis is degrees C. Not convinced that left y-axis reads F, 0 degrees C correlating to 0 on F-axis, not 32 F.
Y-axes possibly using less familiar temperature units?
But even if other temperature units, why do highest temperature points on graph happen in January in North America?
Maybe Im holding this thing upside down?
Obviously Bath House Barry and Chewbacca dont believe in global warming, they just bought a really expensive mansion on the beach. Its a BIG carbon footprint.
Maybe Barry still thinks that he can keep the oceans from rising LMAO.
Hitler finds out there is no global warming in the temperature records.
Alles kommt in ordung, wenn Mann den hokey (sic) Schtick macht.

Mein Führer ... Mann kann den hokey schtick nicht mehr spielen. Niemann hört ihm nicht mehr zu.
“But even if other temperature units, why do highest temperature points on graph happen in January in North America?”
I assume because it’s showing what they call “temperature anomalies”.
How much it deviates from average or normal.
Everything the global warmists do is convoluted and meant to present a bigger response than there is.
The graph is of temperature difference compared to a benchmark (i.e. anomaly) not absolute temperature. I am hardly an expert and what the benchmark is I do not know. Also you can plot your own graphs at https://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/temp-and-precip/national-temperature-index/time-series?datasets%5B%5D=uscrn¶meter=anom-tavg&time_scale=p12&begyear=2004&endyear=2019&month=12

We do but she doesn’t
NO!!
Now it is about climate CRISIS and/or climate EMERGENCY and/or climate CATASTROPHE
It has been the same here-last Summer didn’t have many 100 or higher days either-we are getting into a solar minimum, which means it is likely going to keep getting cooler because of the sunspot cycle-but you can’t get the global warming/climate fanatics to pay attention to the natural order of the universe-maybe another Maunder Minimum/Little Ice Age will wake them up...
They also don’t seem to understand the concept of the heat islands that cities create with all that concrete and other paving and buildings and houses crammed on top of each other. It is 8-10 degrees cooler out here in BFE than in SA on any given sunny Summer day-of course the downside is that it is 8-10 degrees colder on any Winter day, too...

Heat islands in the cities.
Below is from "NOAA Anomalies vs. Temperature":
In climate change studies, temperature anomalies are more important than absolute temperature. A temperature anomaly is the difference from an average, or baseline, temperature. The baseline temperature is typically computed by averaging 30 or more years of temperature data. A positive anomaly indicates the observed temperature was warmer than the baseline, while a negative anomaly indicates the observed temperature was cooler than the baseline. When calculating an average of absolute temperatures, things like station location or elevation will have an effect on the data (ex. higher elevations tend to be cooler than lower elevations and urban areas tend to be warmer than rural areas). However, when looking at anomalies, those factors are less critical. For example, a summer month over an area may be cooler than average, both at a mountain top and in a nearby valley, but the absolute temperatures will be quite different at the two locations. One other brief related note. My physics teacher in High School (over 50 years ago) instilled in us the difference between "degrees F" and "F degrees." The former is used to specify a temperature as in "it is 70 degrees Fahrenheit outside." The latter is used to specify a temperature difference as in "the difference between the outdoor air temp and our nice air conditioned indoor air temp is 30 Fahrenheit degrees." It all depends on the use of the modifier and the noun. He was the only guy I've ever met that stressed this and it made perfect sense then and still does today.Using anomalies also helps minimize problems when stations are added, removed, or missing from the monitoring network.
The NOAA chart shown on this post erroneously uses "deg F" to show the anomaly when it correctly should have been "F deg." But nobody in the world knows the difference between a Degree Fahrenheit and a Fahrenheit Degree, so they use the incorrect "deg F" on the chart.
Clear?
The fever pitch has been raised so high in Europe that there’s people that really believe they can “see” the climate changing before their eyes. When you remind them that the estimates are an average of less than 2 degrees over the next several decades you can see their confusion.
Yes, the "global warming" federal funding was based on lies. Because the global warmer "scientists" manipulated the temperature readings by moving them to hot blacktop parking areas, onto black rooftops near stovepipe chimneys, etc. in order to get readings that were higher than in the past. Now that NOAA got more honest in 2005, the false readings were proven to be a political stunt used to garner federal funding.
"The graph is of temperature difference compared to a benchmark (i.e. anomaly) not absolute temperature."
Thanks for replies. Perspectives appreciated.
Although it could be argued from the graph that higher and lower peak points are slightly rising (Rorschach test?), in case you haven't seen these, here are my irrefutable arguments against political correct global warming.
From related thread
Consider that night-time temperature typically doesnt stop dropping until sunrise (Sherlock issue).
In fact, darkness caused by relatively short duration solar eclipses seems to drop temperatures more quickly in midday, heat-trapping CO2 than the nighttime sky does. Correction welcome.
Temperatures dropped during total solar eclipse
Also, it's not surprising that Los Angeles, despite having probably more than its share of illegal immigrants breathing out "earth-warming" CO2, had a record-breaking low-temperature February in 2019.
Global Warming: Los Angeles Never Reached 70º In February Since Recordkeeping Began (MARCH 1, 2019)
Get rid of unconstitutional federal funding for politically correct global warming and global warming alarmism will disappear overnight imo.
Now it is "Climate Emergency" since the first two didn't spook people enough.
For around $15, pick up this book (or at your library - mine didn't carry it) The politically incorrect guide to climate change - this book nails it.
Right. And nobody disputes the heat Island effect. Humans simply are not putting out enough energy to warm the globe. All they have done is try obfuscate a heat island effect as global. Which is why anthropogenic warming became simply warming.
