Former Vice President Joe Biden mistakenly praised the state of Vermont Saturday when asked about his impression of Keene, New Hampshire by reporters during a press gaggle.
Video of the exchange shows Biden remarking about Vermont's "beauty" after an unseen reporter asks him for his "impression" of the town, which is located in southeastern New Hampshire, close to the state's border with Vermont.
"I love this place. Look, what’s not to like about Vermont in terms of the beauty of it? And what a neat town, this is like a scenic, beautiful town. The mayor's been a good guy, everybody has been really friendly. I like Keene a lot."

I think that’s his schtick. He plays it up for a reason.
It's a matter of clarity and cognition and coherence.
I happened to be in the audience when as (cough, cough) veep Biden delivered a speech, approx 2012. I was impressed how he tended to wander and lose focus (but continued to speak) a few times. We, in the audience, were generous and polite, but I'm sure most remember the VEEP's vacuous moments.

Keene, VT is where Kennedy and King were shot in 1812, giving rise to the Boar War.
