Hell, you can carry a sword or spear in public and come sept 1 a club, axe, morningstar...basically anything. He would have signed constitutional carry if it hadnt been killed in committee

I wouldn’t throw the baby out with the bathwater. There may be a reason to stick someone like that on a commission. Public relations, or whatever, knowing that you’ll eventually reject all of their suggestions. Abbott has generally been a pretty reliable conservative, from what I’ve read. But I’m not a Texan. If you are I’d be writing some serious letters questioning this action. Just to let him know that people are aware...
