Sanders Calls for Nationalization of Energy Production — ‘Can’t Nibble Around the Edges’
Breitbart ^ | 23 August 2019 | Jeff Poor

Posted on 08/23/2019 10:44:04 AM PDT by Magnatron

On Thursday’s “All In” on MSNBC, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) outright admitted to host Chris Hayes a federal government takeover of energy production would be required by his plan to combat climate change.

Hayes raised the possibility of an extension of some form of the Tennessee Valley Authority. Sanders responded by saying it would require government-manufactured electricity “from solar and from wind and from other sustainable energies.”

Glider flights leaving hourly from the West Coast - traveling only east of course.

Westbound flights will cease to exist on Bernie’s Gliders.

Will someone inform him that a fossil fuel engine is required to tow a glider to altitude?

If Bernie is the nominee, it should be really easy to show that he is a crazy old Communist.

It’s all part of Saint Bernie’s plan to end air travel fatalities.

No flights, no people, no problem.

Time to buy your own solar panels and try to disguise them now before the government nationalizes them all.

The government could take over the Sahara and run out of sand in five years. (paraphrased from Milton Friedman). If Bernie is in charge of solar energy we will run out of solar panels - or maybe even sunlight.

Exactly. That’s what Hugo Chavez did......nationalize oil production in Venezuela.

Chavez succeeded in transforming the wealthiest nation in South America into the poorest, and it ain’t even close.

Nationalization of Energy Production

Because there is something offensively exploitative about $2 per gallon gas at the pump. We need to bring the efficiencies of central government planning, the genius of the Ivy League Brooks Brothers suit crowd to oil and gas production and distribution. It's so messy right now letting guys whose profit is on the line figure out the best way to do things. It smacks of democracy and free markets

Bernie wants "fair" instead of Free. Otherwise, smart people can rise, and that ain't fair.

I still haven't quite worked out how an Independent can run on the Democrat, (Traitor's Party), ticket, but that's just me...

Let’s see. The govt would control: schools, colleges, healthcare, energy, the internet, and all the guns as just the first wave of what they want to do.

Nothing could possibly go wrong.

an extension of some form of the Tennessee Valley Authority

Another model is US Enrichment Corporation. You see the advantage of government owned corporations is that they provide opportunities for appointing esteemed cadres of the deep state to highly remunerative positions as executives and directors without any pesky shareholders demanding profitability [see Centrus "leadership"/a>]

> What a lunatic this person is.

Along with a VERY substantial number of "fellow Americans".

Remember, Sanders is a self admitted socialist who is currently serving as a Senator, and has held federal office for almost 30 years, and received over 40% of the votes in the last Democrat Presidential Primaries.
