In a pair of jaw-dropping interviews yesterday following his resignation from the company that he founded twenty years ago, Patrick Byrne revealed his collaboration with the FBI as an informant, including involvement in surveillance of the presidential campaigns including multiple Republicans and of the Hillary Clinton campaign, too. In both interviews he fingered Peter Strzok as the person responsible for sending the men in black from the FBI who visited him, but in the second, he stated that higher ups, whom he would only identify as X, Y, and X people whose names you would know, directed the program.
First, he spoke for over 16 minutes with David Asman and his Bulls and Bears panelists on Fox Business:

Following that, he went on Fox News for 22 and a half minutes to speak with Martha McCallum. The network dropped its commercials to let him speak without interruption.
Although I rarely urge readers to watch long videos, and even though Byrne does ramble and repeat himself, these videos are utterly remarkable. I have to assume that a man who built a large, successful company is not a total flake. Byrne appeared to me to be under incredible stress understandable because he just terminated his career at the company he built, and because he states that he received threats that he would be "ground into dust" if he spoke up.
The FBN interview is somewhat confrontational, particularly with questions by panelist Jonathan Honig, and more focused on his companys stock price. The FNC interview spends a lot of time on his admitted relationship with Maria Butina, currently imprisoned for being an unregistered foreign agent (of Russia), with whom bachelor Byrne had an affair -- he says, at the behest of the FBI.

Mr. Byrne may soon go the way of Mr. Epstein.
Did he resign again?
Although the guy seems to be a whacko, getting this out to the public may be his arkancide prevention plan.
I listened on the way home from work Thursday and was mesmerized. Amazing story and so credible.
Must see.
He was involved in crypto-currency which is closely related to crime. My guess is he was somehow a target , not a witness and the FBI was investigating him.

You got to be shiteing me!
If you have dirt on Hillary, you’ll end up with dirt on you. 6 feet of it.
Amazing. Her next guest was the former acting head of DOJ, really like this guy, he said let's get the facts before we decide anything, very sober.
Good thing he wasn’t on Hannity. Wouldn’t have gotten a word in edgewise.
News comes slowly to the Daily Blogs...
I saw some of the interviews. He reminds me of a friend who would tell me stories how he was recruited at university to entertain Russian or foreigner people who had entered the country. It seemed very far fetched at the time. The thing about this latest guy and my friend is that they are great talkers and performers. And the story is always about themselves. This latest guy is like a tightrope high wire act, balancing this way and that way, between credibility and incredulity. They give you things that you say “yes” that is true, or “no” that can’t be true (as the case of the FBI seriously investigating Hillary). You are constantly hoping to hear more in one direction and then they turn in a new corner and go in a different direction. But the bottom line is that it’s all about them and their glamorous life of political intrigue. They drop impressive names that give them a certain status — e.g., this guy talking about Warren Buffet and Milton Friedman as his personal gurus and his readings of Erasmus and John Stuart Mills. But this is something outlandish or rare and elevates himself in our eyes. He reaches for a his bottled water and says — quiet honestly — where is my “prop.” This is a performance. It is performance with a whiff of truth. How much is true? That’s a question I’ve always wonder about my friend. This guy might be selling anything: his company’s wares, his patriotism, his entertaining stories, his amazing knowledge but, ultimately, he is selling himself.
I saw the Fox Interview and frankly had a hard time following this guy. It appeared to me that he might have been under the influence of something, as he was all over the place and unable for the most part to complete a thought or answer.
I think its clear who “the three at the top were”. If all this is true, there are only two big question left: Did the cabal do this on their own or were they operating under orders from a higher level?
He is very hard to follow in the interview, but after some research I see smoke here.
I believe him. Wonder if he came public because of what happen to Epstein...
Great question: I think they are operating under orders from a higher level. Who is the higher level?
Wow..... I was told by a close peer and friend who work in DC during the Clinton Administration, there are people who control who becomes President.
They control both parties. They control who becomes the nominee for the both the Democratic and Republican President. No matter who wins their horse is in the White House. The American people get who they voted for and they keep control of the White House.
My friend was impeccable and well respected in my field. Knowing what I know now 12 years later, I believe him.
Byrne does seem like a bit of a self-centered drama queen. But then again, maybe that was a personal characteristic that made him an ideal tool for the “men in black” to exploit.
While his story seems fantastical, and his personal circumstances are strange, Martha Maccallum states early in the interview that “we did some asking around and we have indications to believe that your story is indeed credible”. So at least some portions of his “tale” have probably been substantiated.
Another interesting thing about Bryne is his invoking Warren Buffet’s name and essentially bringing him into the story. It would seem that Buffet would have tried to immediately distance himself from this guy if he thought that Byrne was a crackpot.
