my grandpa handed me a german luger and said take this. I was like ok. still, have to this day.
I’m assuming that the state then keeps track of all your ammo purchases and if it looks like you have more than they think you should have you may get flagged....and a visit.
They seem to think a couple of cases is proof you are planning a revolution. Funny, but not funny.
I’ve been buying online by the case for years, cheaper and lets me shot to my heart’s content at the range. I know you poor souls in CA aren’t allowed to buy online.
I’ve purchased guns on several occasions in under 15 minutes. Depends on how busy they are and how fast the background check goes through.
Fun article.
I’m surprised that Snowflake was willing to get so close to firearms.
Remind me never to go to Walmart for firearms. Not that it would have occurred to me to do so.
Yeah, short of moving, about the only hope we have would be SCOTUS help that may never come.
Many liberals believe that there are lots of "loopholes" where people are selling guns commercially without doing background checks. We all know that isn't true, but many other people who have never bought a firearm don't.
She seems surprised that her license must match her actual address, and that she is filling out a form where the penalty for incorrect information is a jail term. She implies that she thinks a firearms only retailer might be more lenient, but of course that isn't true.
The article is a good example of what we should do every chance we get - inform the public about the reality of buying and owning firearms.
The NRA and other law abiding supporters of the 2nd amendment should be educating the public about how intrusive and complex the process already is. And then have them think about how liberals complain that just providing a picture ID to vote is an infringement of a constitutional right.
In Kentucky and I guess some other states, if the buyer has a CCDW as I do, it cuts the process a great deal. And it should, we get vetted pretty seriously when we get our CCDW.
Plus, though a lefty would never admit to it, carriers with a CCDW are *extremely* unlikely to commit a crime with a gun.
Tough sh*t, Honey.
Many years ago in Ohio the law was 18 for rifle ammo and 21 for pistol. They’d always ask. Of course I was buying the 22 ammo for a rifle. Really!
From what I’ve read, there are two basic Walmart layouts, food on the left, food on the right. Every one I’ve been in has been one of the two layouts, with minor differences.
I usually can go in any Walmart and find what I’m looking for fairly easily.
Nope. That would be Ammoman.
Bulk quantities delivered to your door. And generally cheaper. d;^)
Not just uninspired low end crap. I buy from my Gun Range ammo too, I just don’t trust Walmart to have quality anything to do with guns. They take my Life Time CCW card and call it in. 5 minute process and thank you for shopping with us.
When I need to go to the Navy base Pharmacy or Exchange they even have a place I can store my carry piece until I come off base, FREE.
To much of their crap is Chinese crap.
She found out its harder to get a gun than an abortion.
Every Walmart(6) in my area has the toy department near the Sporting goods. Not sure hwy she mentioned it but in a positive light it could be to note that the guns weren’t near an exit.
