Did Gardner endorse Trump against Hillary in the 2016 general election?

gardner tried to play it neutral in the end, he was not a vocal supporter of Trump and certainly not MAGA. After the bush tape was released, gardner was out front calling for Trump to drop out.

So he was neutral between Trump and Hillary? Meaning it didn’t matter to him whether Hillary was elected or not, it was all the same to him?

If that’s true, why aren’t the Republicans demanding another candidate and telling Cory to take a hike?
