Addressing Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo, she wrote: You want to award me a medal ... because our crews work to rescue migrants from difficult conditions on a daily basis.
At the same time your police steal blankets from people you force to live on the streets while you suppress protests and criminalise people who defend the rights of migrants and asylum seekers.

It’s time to stand up to sickie liberal elites - they’re destroying our country, our lives and our communities. This man should not have been offered a metal until AFTER saving the lives of the migrants he had turned his ship around and taken them home.
Let me guess. Instead of taking those he “rescued” to the nearest port so he could quickly get back on station for more rescues, he instead took them north to Europe. How many drowned for his political beliefs.
