My husband and I went out to dinner for the first time in ages this week. We chose a new little pizza/sandwich place with healthy food and mix-your-own juice combinations. My drink was wonderful. Then I opened the straw and realized it was one of those thick paper straws that makes it so that all I could taste was the straw. GAG! I chose not to use a straw at all. I’ll bet that straw had some kind of noxious chemical in it. Sure tasted like it!
After having the same problem a couple of days ago, I order a pack of 100 straws, individually wrapped. I intend to have a couple in my purse and in the car at all times.
