“I’d like to see the blatant misuse of classifying veterans as disabled repaired before we start handing out additional benefits”

Are you a disabled vet?

I know the process I went through to gain VA compensation was quite rigorous. I would not have been able to fake it.

The VA denies 3 claims for every one they approve.

I'm not a disabled vet. But I know several. They had the same experience this discusses. And this. And this. For the record, I'm a military brat. Dad did 33 years. First spouse did almost 30 years, 20 while we were married. Second spouse is Vietnam vet. I'm not bashing the military, but this IS a problem.

Agreed. I’m 100% T&P. It’s not an easy process. My total rating is 260% (when you add up all the scores). That’s about what you need to be 100% T&P. Fortunately for me it only took about 4 months after I retired until I got a decision. It was fairly obvious.

What many on this thread didn’t do was actually read the article (which is a FR frequent flyer mistake). The student loan forgiveness program is only for 100% T&P.
