I do not like carrots as a vegetable. My mother always added sugar to it when she cocked them. They were gross. I finally told her they were sweet enough without she adding sugar to it.

I liked them as a salad mixed with vinegar and oil.

Mostly, I like carrots slow cooked with potatoes and a roast in gravy.
