We also have Steely Dan to thank for Michael McDonald as he was singing backup for them before Tom Johnston ulcered out of the Doobies.
Michael did far more damage to the 80s than the 70s though, so I haven’t brought him up till now.
Never really liked the Doobies, but Jeff “Skunk” Baxter is cool.
Steely Dan was awesome.
