[Honestly, the only reason I have any support for the HK protestors at all is because I want Communism in China deader than a doornail]
Never said that I wished for the HK people to adhere to democracy after the CPC was killed off. Actually, if anything, I indicated they ultimately SHOULDN’T embrace democracy by comparing it in a negative manner to Communism, and that it if anything should become a Christian theocratic state.
And I wasn’t even thinking of China’s ancient past when I said democracy shouldn’t be in China even without the Communist party making a mess of things. Actually, you should think more recently for why I don’t support implementing democracy in China, like the French Revolution or, heck, most of the Communist revolutions of the 20th century, many of whom used communism and democracy interchangeably. If you’re to implement democracy, you might as well bring back Mao Zedong while you’re at it.
And make no mistake, I would like a WHOLE lot more than just to see Xi Jinping dangling from a lamp post. I’d like to see Mao Zedong’s embalmed corpse also hung from a lamppost as well, and have Karl Marx’s statue demolished.
