I saw on tv that 27 policemen nationwide were killed in the line of duty last year and that 121 committed suicide. Should we take away guns from the cops too?

Gov. Weber’s bill, AB392, would bar police from using lethal force unless it is necessary to prevent imminent threat of death or serious injury to themselves and others.
So if some police shoots himself, was that ‘necessary ...’.
If not he has broken the law. Can’t lock him up, but how about stopping any retirement or life insurance?
I’ll bet that would stop some of this cop-on-himself shooting.
