The Dem ticket must have two boxes checked, i.e., a woman and a minority. Warren would fill the first one, which means that a minority would have to be in the VP slot. Harris fills both as does Gabbard. Booker and Castro are minorities and candidates for VP. Or Warren could go outside the Presidential candidates, as is usually the case, to select a running mate. Regardless, a woman and minority or some combination thereof must be on the ticket. There will not be two Non-Hispanic whites on the Dem ticket.
Some will call me crazy, but I am sticking with my original prediction. After total chaos in the primaries, and even further lurches leftward -- they will present Michael Obama as a "moderate/centrist" option by acclimation.
