I preferred the PI because I liked getting out early in the morning instead of the afternoon. I had about 175 customers at the peak. I would use my bike although the hills around Skyway made that only marginally better.
I got fired because I started using a mini-bike to deliver the papers - too loud!
I had about that many too. I used a Stingray with the banana seat, and the high-rise handlebars to wrap my newspaper bag around. My neighborhoods were fairly flat, and I got to be a pretty good shot throwing a folded newspaper. Aaah the days of youth.
