The New York Times is the Bible of the American Left. People are being fed a religious worldview (secular humanism), but they think it is objective and neutral. We really are in a battle for the soul of America.

Somewhere else they described this NYT effort as “neo-Confederate”. That is, the same argument used by slaveholders in the Confederacy, that America was meant to be a slave holding nation.
The left is going full circle.
Its “antifascists” are acting just like fascists.
Its “Christians” are either atheists or worship Moloch.
It has become the pinch faced moralists they used to hate.
