Threatening the president of the United States is a class E felony. The Secret Service investigates suspected violations and monitors those who have a history of threatening the president.
Under U.S. law 18 U.S.C. § 879, “whoever knowingly and willfully threatens to kill, kidnap, or inflict bodily harm upon” the president or anyone else protected by the Secret Service can be fined, imprisoned for up to five years or get the package deal of a fine plus jail time.
I highly doubt that.

Maybe I’m over reacting, but I find this particularly heinous in light of the two recent shootings!
This looks like threatening the life of our POTUS to me!

I see no great hope for the resurrection of rule of law, when an elected official can do things like this with impunity.
The entire nation is suffering under faux homoerotic marriage because Gavin Newsom openly flouted the California State Constitution on marriage in 2004, and was rewarded rather than arrested for it.
That metastasized into national abomination. Meanwhile, Newsom is now Governor because of it; he may one day become President because of it.
These acts by elected officials are dangerous.
