As far as I know Bill Barr worked as an analyst at the CIA for a couple of years in the 1970s. When he got is law degree he left.
Now he did work in WH under GHW Bush. Wikipedia says he wrote the opinion justifying the invasion of Panama and overthrow of Noriega. Panama was a hot spot for drug money, and one of the routes for drugs coming in.
There are lots of rumors about Bush, and of course even more about Clinton as he was AG and Governor of Arkansas at the time of the whole Barry Seal/Mena Arkansas thing. There was the whole Iran-Contra affair mixed into all this too but the timeline a little different. Anyway if Clinton was involved in some direct way it is not a stretch to wonder about GHW Bush who was VP and then POTUS (and previously head of the CIA). And that would also open questions about Barr and the Noriega affair.
But to be honest, I hadn’t thought about Barr in this light until you mentioned it.
Imagine if Bush had not been rescued ocean by one of our Subs in the Pacific when his plane went down...
