It's a self-governing territory on a path to complete independence.
Demark sold us their part of the Virgin islands back in 1917, so why cant they sell Greenland if they want to?
I imagine that the fact that the people of Greenland have no interest in becoming the property of the U.S. would have a lot to do with it.
Yes not sure Greenlanders they would want this.
Perhaps just transference of the Danish role to us would be enough. Regardless loss of a reliable Greenland would flank us in the North Atlantic. That problem is a bigger issue then Greenlander or Danish feelings.
