President Donald Trumps Thursday evening rally in Manchester, N.H., is ostensibly about ginning up support for his reelection campaign.
But the states establishment GOP class is worried hell use the event to do something else: Talk up Corey Lewandowskis potential 2020 Senate bid.
Republican Gov. Chris Sununu has relayed concerns about Trump's controversial former campaign manager to party leadership. Tom Rath, a former New Hampshire attorney general and a prominent Republican in the state, says hes not a Corey fan. Former GOP Sen. Judd Gregg took to the pages of New Hampshires biggest newspaper to deride Lewandowski as a thug.

Wow.
Corey is WAY smarter that Sununu!
The GOP-e is fighting back. Their less-than-bright generations to come are depending on them to pass these political perches on to them. Thats how these mediocre off-spring manage to make millions off of public service.
I preferred the old Sununu.
Bush League Republicans hate nothing more than anyone who sides with the citizens and the rule of law.
The old Sununu was a Bush League Republican, too.
It’s just that in those days we didn’t know they were turning the USA into North Mexico against our will.
Saheen is not a political hack? Hassan is not a political hack? These people are idiots. The Senate is about 98% political hacks.
Sununu gave us and vouched for the wonderful “conservative” David Souter, who became one of the most liberal justices of the Supreme Court.
The old Sununu was and still is-an a—hole. We need more of that.
Funny GOP Senate thugs calling Lewandowski a thug.
Here’s a jerk calling Lewandowski a “thug.”
Souter was sold as “conservative” to a credulous Sununu by Senator Warren Rudman who might has well have been a Democrat. He passed himself off as conservative until he got on the Court when he actually got to the left of Breyer and Ginsburg. Souter waited to retire until Obama got elected so they could get a fellow leftwinger, Sonia Sotomayor, on the Court. Rudman was very happy that Souter didn’t, as expected, overturn liberal precedents. In this regard, he was like John Paul Stevens, sold by the simpleton Gerry Ford as a conservative over the objections of real conservatives who knew exactly what he was and would turn out to be.
I guess the NH GOP enjoys continuing to lose elections.
They can watch it go like Cali did in the 90’s.
I’m sure that Rudman and other New Hampshire hacks that call themselves “Republicans” were fully in support of the Edward M. Kennedy (that’s right, named after the swimmer) Center for the US Senate in Mass; sold to the public as self-funding with private contributions and the sticky pennies of admiring schoolchildren, it needed $38 million in federal taxpayer money. Rather than brining in 100,000 visitors a year, it averages 15,000; a total waste of taxpayer money I’m sure supported by the idiot members of the Senate “club”. If it receives taxpayer money, there should be a “Mary Jo Kopechne” Room; naming this mausoleum after a clown is ridiculous and shows how chummy the Senate is.
My cousin was on the Trump campaign team since 2015 and it is common knowledge that Lewandowski was the MAN who told Trump to keep talking about the border wall.
and the reason why he was ousted was because supposedly, he told Jared Kushner to STFU. Kushner was in Trump’s ear all the time NOT to talk about the border and talk like a “moderate”.
The GOPe...
They weren't Trump fans either!
.
they know who to say it to - Politico.
Wonder no more he just promoted him for Senate, asked him to run.
He has common political instincts like Trump.
He doesn't poll for opinions. He goes with his gut.
This is the political class that threw away NH to the dems for the last 20 years.
I know General Bolduc. He’s from a family of Democrats. Nice guy, but a RINO.
